Boxing for Good
The Armoury Boxing Club in partnership with sponsors Thomson Reuters, hosted the 4th annual Financial Services Charity Fight Night on Thursday, 12 March 2015 at the Cape Quarter in Green Point, Cape Town.
The notice goes out each year in October, looking for volunteers from the financial services industry – men and women of all ages – who have never boxed before. Portfolio Analyst, Verosha Sudhakaran took on the challenge and underwent a 4 month training programme and was transformed into a ‘white collar’ boxer for a night. She definitely brought the heart and did Edge proud.
The Cape Town financial services industry came together to cheer on their men and women in a spirit of intense but friendly rivalry.
