Care Bags for Destitute Women

To celebrate Women’s Month this year, 30 care bags were sponsored by Edge Capital and it’s Enterprise partner Alusi Asset Management.

The care bags were packed by staff for destitute women. 15 care bags were donated to the women of St Anne’s Homes. The additional 15 bags – as part of the CSR “Pay-it-Forward” initiative – were handed to the female staff to take part in a random act of kindness by handing it to a homeless woman for example.

St. Anne’s Homes is a non-government organisation situated in Woodstock, Cape Town. They offer shelter and care, as well as empower abused, destitute and pregnant mothers and their young children.
